About Me

Experience

I support clients navigating anxiety, shame, guilt, burnout, transitions, and trauma. I enjoy challenging clients as they question the ideologies and worldviews received from their caregivers, and develop a sense of their own values, ideas, and beliefs. I journey with my clients as they go deeper to discover more of who they are and how they want to relate to the world. I help them identify unhelpful narratives and build new patterns of behavior and response. I strive to build a safe and welcoming space for my clients and take a position as a curious learner to hear and honor their experiences.

I use an integrative approach, and all my work is trauma-informed. I find fulfillment in giving hope and connection to clients who have gone through tragedies. My own experiences as a client led me to train in EMDR, a modality that greatly supported my healing and has been successful with my clients. I blend EMDR with several evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Hobbies

In my free time, I find joy in curling up with my dog and a book. You may also catch me in my car, screaming all the lyrics to “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).” I believe in the power of storytelling and creativity as tools for self-expression and personal growth. My love for storytelling informs how I help clients rewrite their stories, becoming the main characters of their lives instead of fading into the background.
